Séances du groupe d’experts

Les équipes qui se sont qualifiées pour le Défi avaient la chance d’assister à l’une des deux séances exclusives où des experts en santé publique, en communications et en médias sociaux ont commenté les initiatives de certaines équipes et leur ont donné de précieux conseils.

Voici les experts :

david_buckeridge_2 BWDr. David Buckeridge, Associate Professor – Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health, McGill University

Dr. David Buckeridge is an Associate Professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at McGill University, where he holds a Canada Research Chair in Public Health Informatics. He conducts research on the informatics of public health surveillance, and is the founder of The Surveillance Lab.

Dave Fleet leads a 35-person digital team working across Edelman’s Toronto and Montreal offices. Dave is responsible for developing and implementing digital engagement strategies for some of the world’s best-known brands across consumer, corporate, technology, corporate and public affairs industries. Previously, Dave spent five years in the public sector in progressive strategic communications positions, and was presented with the Amethyst Award, the highest award available to Ontario public service staff, in 2008.

Cameron BWDr. Cameron Norman, Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto

Dr. Cameron Norman integrates design, systems thinking and evaluation to help health and social innovation enterprises navigate complexity and create vibrant, healthy organizations and communities. He is the Principal of CENSE Research + Design, a health innovation consultancy, and is an Adjunct Professor of Public Health at the University of Toronto.

 

Naqaash BWNaqaash Pirani, Technology Consultant

Naqaash Pirani is a PhD Student at Ivey Business School focusing on Information Systems and Emerging Technology. Prior to beginning his doctoral studies, Naqaash worked as a Technology Consultant at PwC, and advised clients across a number of industries on how to develop social, mobile and digital commerce strategies.
